With 10 years experiences in brand management, Janie is a highly effective communicator and strategic counsellor with a deep understanding and insight into entertainment marketing, fashion and luxury communications .
Janie rejoined Ogilvy in May 2012, heading entertainment marketing team. She helps brands to develop entertainment strategy via multi-media platforms, including brand integration with global and local entertainment resources, customized branded content, talent endorsement, crossover promotions, etc.
Prior to rejoining Ogilvy, Janie worked at Reach Glory Communications, established contacts/partnerships with Hollywood studios, international talent agency and entertainment marketing company, etc., helped Chinese brands negotiate, execute brand integration with Hollywood entertainment products, including product placement, tie-in promotion and licensing. She also participated in the production and brand integration of tailor-made TV series for Mercedes.
From 2005 to 2010, Janie worked at Ogilvy and Hill & Knowlton respectively. During this time, she has accumulated rich experiences in luxury, fashion/lifestyle communications, providing strategic consulting and managing marketing campaigns to clients including Cartier, Royal Salute, Rolex, Martell, COFCO, Zara, Lladro, etc. just name some.
Janie was educated overseas in Holland where she obtained a BA Degree in Communication Management, INHOLLAND University, Amsterdam, the Netherlands. She also has an M.A. Degree in Communications, from the University of Westminster, London.
