A senior technology and media executive, Foo brings more than 20 years of experience in Asia Pacific across agencies and tech companies, with the last 12 years spent in China having worked with over 70 international blue-chip brands.
Foo, an entrepreneur at heart, continued to be active in the startups’ communities taking up mentorship roles at China Accelerator and Sparklabs Korea. Foo also sits on several startups as advisors helping them to launch, accelerate and scale up their businesses in China.
As Managing Director of Reprise China, IPG Mediabrands’ global digital performance agency, Foo is leading the team to provide the best-in-class digital solutions for the clients and drive digital strategy and innovation to help brands engage their consumers in the most meaningful and efficient way.
Before IPG, Foo was the head of Airwave China, the Innovation and Mobility unit within Omnicom Media Group and the Head of Mobile for Google China. In the 13 years prior, Foo had held various senior leadership roles with other tech companies including Nokia & Velti, and Foo had also started his own technology startup back in 1997 and his startup went on to become one of the Fast 500 companies in APAC for 3 consecutive years by Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu.
